Do Now 12/14

If I were to have an invisible cloak for 1 day, there would be many things that I would do with that power. It would be very friendly deeds that could further benefit someone's life. Having the invisible cloak can be very great because rather than posting a video of a good deed online, just knowing yourself that you did something great could make you feel like a better person. The power of the invisibility cloak wouldn't be abused. Why would I even want to hurt others for my personal enjoyment when there's people that need help?
To begin with, I would help out people being physically harmed. If there were to be a fistfight going on between two people, I would secretly break the fight without anyone even knowing! In addition, I could help out the elderly by helping them up. If they're struggling to move somewhere, I could help carry them to their destination. Lastly, I would even help out those who are just simply living normal lives! I could carry groceries for them and make life easier.

Do Now 12/7

If I were to be a teacher in the Wood-Ridge High School, I would be able to teach an important class about life skills. This class would probably be an elective for students reaching their senior year of the school. The class would be full of important information for those seniors that are ready to graduate, go to college, and face the real world. Teachers like as me would teach the students how to pay taxes, vote, get a job, etc. We would even go through real-life scenarios and how to act.
The smartest decision for a class like this is during 7th period. This is because first period, people are usually quiet and last period, the students would be loud. If I were to have it 7th period, seniors from 4th and 5th period lunch would have calmed down, although they're a lot more awake. Seniors from 6th period lunch would be a little rowdier, which wouldn't be too big of a deal. Students would be demonstrating their learning by doing fun, but informative drills. This would include skits and interactive projects. Most of the class time would involve teacher-on-student learning with the class, listening to the student's lives and sometimes lecturing the class how to do something.

RSS Discussion Questions

1. Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
A. I selected these websites because they're websites that contain information I'm interested in.

2. Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?
A. Some feeds were easy to find and subscribe too, but some took an extra minute or two to search for.

3. Which sites were your favorites?
A. My favorite sites were the ones about sports such as NBA and ESPN because they're hobbies that I love and there's pretty frequent news going on in sports for me to read.

4. What else can you use RSS feeds for?
A. I could use RSS feeds to keep all my project information in all one website, rather than have multiple tabs and searching for the websites all over again the next time you need those websites.

5. How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?
A. Although RSS feeds can be very useful, I'm not too likely to use RSS feeds in the future because I'd rather make bookmarks and keep all the links in one folder on the top of the my browser as opposed to going through the work of logging in for all of my information.
